I met with Sara this week, and boy was I impressed. I have worked with several realtors over the course of my life, and now I have found the realtor that I will work with for all my future transactions.

Sara is highly intelligent, prompt, and professional. She is very polished, yet completely unpretencious. She was born and raised here in the valley, so she knows this housing market well. She received her degree from Santa Clara University, which I also found impressive.

She actually cares a lot about the people she works for, is a huge animal lover/advocate, and is a ceritifed EcoBroker.

Sara helped my fiance and I find our first house!  We found Sara on Yelp last summer and after feeling a connection to what we read, gave her a call and have not looked back since.  A month or so before we had finished saving and just before we were ready to jump into our search, Sara started taking us out to look at places, get a feel for neighborhoods, and to get a sense of what we liked and didn't like.  We were initially interested in Cambrian, Campbell, Willow Glen but quickly learned that we could get more for our money in downtown San Jose, so decided to focus the bulk of our search on this area.  To say the least, it's been an adventure!  We started our search at a time when everyone else apparently thought it was a good time to buy too – often up against 10 – 15+ other offers on homes.  Sara's kind reassurance, and ability to keep our spirits up was invaluable, in addition to her tireless dedication and commitment to us as clients.  We always felt we were in good hands with a professional who truly cared about finding us that perfect place!   About 2 months into our search we had our offer accepted on a house we instantly fell in love with but thought we would be up against stiff competition.  Just prior to submitting our offer on our dream house, we quickly learned we would be one of over 11 offers!  Sara's strategic and savvy advice was instrumental in having our offer get noticed and accepted above all the others!  But this was not an easy transaction as there were multiple beneficiaries involved who owned the home who were scattered across the nation, all having to agree on terms through an attorney.  What we thought would be a normal close of escrow took oodles of patience on her end and commitment to keeping the lines of communication open between the listing agent and sellers.  She was truly our champion!  In the end it all worked out, we got the house, and have since happily moved in, and are starting our lives together in our first place.  I have to say that we are very thankful to have found Sara on Yelp and what's more, through the home buying process, we have become good friends! We highly recommend Sara to anyone looking for representation to sell or buy a home!

Sara is spectacular! (and fun, and intelligent, and witty, and honest, and…..)She made a point to understand us and our needs before leading us on many weekend outings (away from her own family-time) to show us our options. She humored us several times by going with us to see places even when she told us we wouldn't like it! She knew what we wanted more than we did it seemed. When we finally found our new home, I'm pretty sure she knew it before we did. After our offer was in place, she still worked continuously to keep everything running smoothly between all of the different entities- Sellers, Buyers, First and Second Mortgage holders, the short sale negotiation team, our financal company, and on and on….. I'm not sure how she kept up with it all, but she did. On top of that I felt like we were her only clients most of the time. Hats off, Sara Greenwood!

Sara was the listing agent for my brother and I when we needed to sell my mother's home; she passed away earlier this year. As you can imagine selling a home is stressful enough, but when you have to sell the home where your mother lived for the last 50-years it presents a whole new set of issues. Getting the house ready for sale was quite stressful for both my brother and I, but through the whole process Sara was there providing support and guidance. Needless to say we finally cleared out all my mother's possessions at which time Sara managed the team of professionals who resurfaced the floors, thoroughly cleaned the house, and performed the various inspections. Sara managed the entire process and kept my brother and I informed every step of the way. Once all that was done, the house was ready to go on the market. Again Sara managed the all aspects of the marketing of our house. The bottom line is in this difficult housing market, Sara was able to bring in a buyer and we sold the house at our target price in less than a month! It was an absolute pleasure working with Sara and both my brother and I would highly recommend Sara if you need a realtor.
